Valorant Coach Juv3nile: 12-Month Ban by Riot
Riot Games has suspended Valorant coach Preston ‘Juv3nile’ Dornon from all Riot-sanctioned competitions for 12 months following an investigation into dozens of unwanted direct messages he sent to women, many of whom were in their late teens or early twenties. The 36-year-old coach, who most recently worked with Leviatán during their VCT 2024 run, was also terminated effective immediately by Global Esports, where he had been serving as a coach.
The allegations surfaced after women from a smaller regional league began sharing similar experiences in response to tweets about another coach, Fantomas. While those smaller tournaments have not pursued further investigation, the discussion prompted multiple women to come forward with screenshots of DMs from Juv3nile. A clear pattern emerged: he would use a handful of cold-open messages, such as offering free coaching, asking women if they wanted to be his ‘spoiled travel princess,’ or boasting that he was ‘living in Seoul rn’ to entice them to visit. He also frequently replied directly to tweets with opening lines like, ‘i gotchu, lets duo so I can start to gas light you, then I fly you in irl to watch us at riot arena.’ In many cases, he continued messaging for three to six months without receiving a reply.
