Pragmata Fan Registers Unclaimed Capcom URL

Capcom has once again left a URL referenced inside one of its games unregistered, and a fan has claimed it. The latest incident involves the newly released Pragmata, where a billboard in a 3D-printed New York displays the address aweskerproduction.com—a clear nod to Resident Evil antagonist Albert Wesker. Unlike the fictional Easter egg, the actual domain was available for purchase, and a player was quick to secure it.

Russian gamer Alexander Trisvyatsky spotted the URL while playing Pragmata and immediately registered it. Within minutes, he built a simple meme site featuring scrolling Resident Evil memes, mostly of Wesker and Leon. The page title reads “Hello dudes/Darova dudes,” and a footer disclaims any affiliation with Capcom, stating the site is for entertainment only. Trisvyatsky added Google Analytics to track visits and deliberately avoided monetization—no ads or donation requests. The site has since received over 45,000 hits.

Trisvyatsky said the project was just for fun and expressed his respect for Capcom’s work, noting his appreciation for their continued Russian localization efforts. He told IGN he would transfer the domain to Capcom immediately if asked, adding that he did not know about a similar earlier case—a domain referenced in Resident Evil: Requiem, which was also registered by a fan who used it to host links to their social media. That owner similarly offered to return the domain.
