A 2D platformer called Wukong Sun: Black Legend has appeared on the Nintendo online store with a December 26 launch date, and observers are already calling it a ripoff of the award-winning Black Myth: Wukong. The listing, published by developer-publisher Global Game Studio, describes the game as a Journey to the West–inspired action platformer starring the Monkey King. Its promotional art and protagonist strongly resemble those of Game Science’s blockbuster, prompting accusations of a cash-in rather than coincidence.

Suspicious Similarities
