Stragglers Grove Guide: Unlocking Silent Grove Quests

Stragglers Grove is visible early in Wuling, but thick bamboo blocks thorough exploration. To fully unlock this area on your map, complete the Silent Grove side-quest chain. It begins after you receive a Baker message from Mi Fu requesting assistance. If the message isn’t appearing, advance the main story until it triggers.

Silent Grove: The Beginning

This first part takes roughly 20 minutes and is heavily guided. Your objectives include:

• Read Mi Fu’s message and find Watchguard Li Zhui
• Go to Qingbo Stockade to gather intel and talk to Qingwu
• Collect raft repair materials, then travel from Qingbo Stockade Ferry Point to Burdensnout Hill Ferry Point
• Search for missing people in the grove, touch the core, fix the hydrocube, touch the core again
• Enter Stragglers Grove and check the note on the ground

Follow the quest marker throughout; the game directs each step. Once complete, Silent Grove: Zhailing Islet starts automatically.

Silent Grove: Zhailing Islet

Again, follow quest markers for most objectives. Early on, you’ll encounter a lantern puzzle. Face the stone sacred animal statue, turn right, and activate the two lanterns closest to you in order. Then face the statue again, turn left, and light the path lanterns as you go. After clearing the bamboo, continue following the marker. You may need to return to any of your bases to collect water bottles; these are used to fill a bridge terminal. The remaining objectives involve scanning footprints, activating guiding lights to exit the grove, continuing to search for missing people, saving stockade residents, and fixing Core W1. The structure mirrors the previous quest — simply follow prompts.
