Pokémon TCG Pocket: Extradimensional Crisis Guide

Pokémon TCG Pocket will release its next mini expansion, Extradimensional Crisis (set code A3a), on May 29, 2025, at 6:00 AM UTC. This set introduces Ultra Beasts and the new Type: Ultra to the mobile card game, bringing a selection of otherworldly Pokémon from the Alola region. Players can expect a themed booster pack, exclusive cosmetics, and a series of in-game events tied to the release.

Ultra Beast-Themed Booster Pack

The new Themed Booster Pack is built around the Ultra Beast archetype. Featured cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. As mysterious life-forms that emerged from Ultra Wormholes, the Ultra Beasts debuted in the Pokémon Sun and Moon video games and are characterized by their alien energy. The booster pack also contains additional cards that support the Ultra Beast type, alongside other Alola-region Pokémon.

Cosmetics and How to Obtain Them

Two limited-time cosmetics will be available during the expansion’s first weeks. An Ultra Beast-themed binder cover can be purchased from the Shop using shop tickets starting May 29. A floral display board, used to showcase a favorite card, will be obtainable via event shop tickets earned during the Wonder Pick Event running from June 11 to June 28 (PDT times).
