Last Z: Survival Shooter Guide – Tips & Strategies
Welcome to the world of Last Z: Survival Shooter, a game that blends fast-paced vertical shooter action with deep base-building strategy. You control a squad of heroes through scrolling zombie-infested arenas, collecting resources that let you develop your stronghold between battles. This guide covers the core loop, heroes, resources, and early priorities so you can start strong.
The Two Intertwined Modes
Shooter stages are vertical scrolling arenas where you lead your hero squad upward, dodging indestructible hazards like spikes and rolling wheels while destroying obstacles. Clearing shooter stages expands your base territory, unlocking buildings that unlock new systems—training, hero recruitment, and advanced upgrades. In turn, stronger buildings make your combat team more effective. The two modes feed each other: shooting earns resources, building sustains growth.

Heroes also belong to factions such as Blood Rose, Wings of Dawn, or Guard of Order. Deploying multiple heroes from the same faction activates static
