The Bell Tolls Quest Guide – Xiranite Crafting Tips

To complete The Bell Tolls quest in Wuling, you need to produce, transport, and infuse exactly 1,000 Xiranite—but only what’s in your backpack counts, not your depot storage. Start by fast-traveling to Tianshi Bureau Academy and speaking with Shang Jin to activate the quest. Then head to Wuling Depot, where all the crafting happens.

Xiranite is produced at the Forge of the Sky, located in the Core AIC facility inside Wuling Depot. The bulk recipe for 1,000 Xiranite requires 2,000 Stabilized Carbon and 50,000 Clean Water. Stabilized Carbon comes from refining Sandleaf in a refining unit, and Clean Water is gathered from pumps or purifiers. Before you queue up the production, make sure you have a steady supply of both inputs—if the line runs dry, the craft will stall. Queue up at least 1,200 Xiranite (20% over the target) to cover any reservations or mistakes during transfer. Use factory blueprints and automation to run the process hands-free; you can copy and adapt existing designs from AIC Sharing to your own base.

Once the Xiranite is finished, transfer it directly from the factory output to your backpack. Double-check your inventory before leaving Wuling Depot—if you leave any in the depot, the quest won’t see it.
