Alliance Championship Guide: Tips & Strategy

The Alliance Championship is a weeklong, turn-based event where your alliance competes against five others of similar strength across five rounds. Each round is fought in three lanes—left, middle, and right—and winning at least two lanes earns your alliance a 3-point victory. Success depends on smart deployment, troop composition, and leadership adjustments between rounds.

      Sign-Up and Matchmaking

Sign-up begins at server reset on Monday and closes Wednesday at 23:00 UTC. You must be in an alliance and have Furnace level 10 to register. During sign-up, every member selects a lane and deploys their troops and heroes. The matchmaking phase runs from Wednesday 23:00 UTC to Thursday 00:00 UTC, requiring at least 10 registered members. Alliances are grouped with similarly tiered opponents based on past performance. A common early tactic is to have all members deploy to the middle lane—this often leads to favorable matchups, and your R4/R5 can redistribute players later.

      Preparation and Lane Strategy

There are five preparation phases, each lasting about 11 hours before a battle round. R4/R5 can move members between lanes during this time. For the first round, you cannot see the opponent’s lane assignments. From round two onward, you can see what your opponent used in their previous round—but they might change it. A strong strategy is to stack your most powerful players in two lanes and leave the third weak. This gives you a good chance at winning two lanes and the round. Adjust your lane placements based on intel, but stay flexible.
