Jincao Guide: Arknights Endfield Farming & Crafting

When you’re starting out in Arknights: Endfield and need a reliable way to keep your operators alive, Jincao (also called silkstar grass) is your answer. This 1★ plant is the foundation for Jincao Powder—an instant HP restore item—and Jincao Solution, which is used in medicines and drinks. You can find it growing wild in shaded hillslopes or cultivate it indefinitely in your AIC Eco-Farm, making it essential for early-game sustain and your first production lines.

      Foraging for Wild Jincao

To gather wild Jincao, head to Jingyu Valley in the Wuling region. The best spot is Stragglers Grove, which you can reach by fast-traveling from Sky King Flats. Look for glowing plants on the shaded hillslopes; each cluster yields multiple Jincao. There are no strict respawn timers, so you can return whenever you need more. While foraging, you have a chance to find Fluffed Jincao, a rarer 2★ variant that gives better output when processed. To start your own supply, use a Seed-Picking Unit on any wild Jincao—this gives you seeds for cultivation.

      Setting Up an Eco-Farm

Once you unlock the AIC Eco-Farm through early-to-mid game progression, you can grow Jincao reliably. Build a Jincao Plot using the seeds you collected, plant them, and wait for them to mature. If you connect conveyor belts to the plot, the harvest becomes automatic, giving you a passive supply. Farming also increases your chances of getting Fluffed Jincao, so prioritize this setup as soon as you can.
