AFK Journey Exclusive Item: Mythic+ Unlock Guide

When a character in AFK Journey is upgraded to their Mythic+ tier, a new layer of power becomes available: the Exclusive Item. This piece of equipment is unique to each hero, granting a set of stats tailored to that specific character. More importantly, unlocking and upgrading the Exclusive Item adds a fourth ability to the character’s kit, referred to as an EX or Exclusive Skill. The item is both unlockable and upgradeable, meaning players can invest resources to further enhance the hero’s capabilities beyond the initial unlock.

Exclusive Item Mechanics

The Exclusive Item system is tied directly to character progression. Only after a hero reaches Mythic+ does the item slot appear, and from there players must gather the required materials to unlock it. The stat bonuses provided by the Exclusive Item are designed to complement the character’s role—whether that means increased survivability for tanks, higher damage for attackers, or improved healing for supports. The accompanying Exclusive Skill then adds a new tactical dimension, often providing a unique effect that can turn the tide of battle.
